Itinerary

In 1946 a forceful Removal took place in Cape Town.

After the museum, we will go straight to Langa Township. Langa is a Native Xhosa word and it means Sun. You will meet your local tourguide and do a walking tour in the township. While walking with the local guide, he will explain about the past, present and future of Langa. You will have the opportunity to see the daily lifestyle of the local people, visit a daycare, taste local beer, taste local food that is cooked daily on the street. On Sundays you will also visit a local church. This is a Great experience to learn about the local culture. Finally we will go to Guga Sthebe arts and cultural centre. This is dedicated to the people of Langa and decrease the unemployment rate in the township.
